This hotel suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, an electric kettle, and comfy rooms. I still remember how the staff helped me with currency exchange on my first stay. Highly recommend it! I'll be back for Christmas.

Had a wonderful anniversary lunch with a fantastic full Christmas spread in a beautiful setting, and the views of the Irish Sea were just perfect. I really enjoyed relaxing at the cozy lounge and the lovely outdoor seating too. The only slight hiccup was waiting a bit long for dessert, but I’d say definitely check it out for a memorable meal! 🎉

I stayed here while exploring the local attractions, and I must say the Italian grilled meat was a highlight for me—absolutely delicious! The electric kettle in my room was also a nice touch, perfect for making a quick cuppa after a day out. Although there were times the Wi-Fi lagged a bit, it did little to dampen my adventures in Seascale.

The Italian grilled meat at Calder House was an absolute treat! I could’ve feasted on that smoky goodness every day. Plus, I had a fab time with their electric kettle – perfect for a cuppa after those long seaside strolls!
Though the Wi-Fi gave me a bit of a cheeky lag now and then, it hardly dented my culinary adventures around Seascale. Just more reason to explore the tasty local digs!

Got there a bit early and they hooked us up with tea while we waited. The room was just wow—so pretty and right by the sea! Dinner was spot on too, couldn’t complain about a thing, everything was delish and the staff were super friendly. Just wish the wifi was a bit better. an absolute treat!
